Corinthian 9:6-15

Now, think about this. The person who sows sparingly will reap sparingly, and the one who sows generously will also reap generously.

Each person should give the amount he has resolved in his heart to give—not motivated by sad feelings or pressure! —because God loves the cheerful giver.

And God has the ability to lavish you with all kinds of grace, in order that always having everything you need in every situation you may have plenty of resources for every good work.

As it stands written, He distributed. He gave to the poor. His righteousness remains forever.

Now the One who provides the sower with seed and bread to eat will supply and greatly multiply your seed and will increase the harvest of your righteousness.

You will be enriched in every way, resulting in every kind of generosity, which through us is producing thanksgiving to God;

for the ministry fulfilling this service not only is meeting the needs of God’s people but also is having a broader effect through many thanks being offered up to God.

Because of this ministry’s proven character, they will glorify God in response to the obedience flowing from your confession of the gospel of Christ and the generous way you have shared with them and everyone else.

And they will feel deep affection for you as they pray on your behalf, because God’s extraordinary grace rests on you.

Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift!
